 PRODUCTS
The mainstay of our business is hive bodies, but we
have been working on some special prototypes for
tops and bottoms. Since much of the industry has
converted to plastic frames and foundations, we are
a distributor for these products as well.
We manufacture our
hive bodies from ponderosa (west coast USA) pine.
There are two grades of hive bodies
#2-Value Grade
This lower grade does not have knot
holes, but can contain defects such as star-checked
knots, black ring knots, and larger spike knots. The
dovetails are still intact and the boxes match
together just fine.
